We expect to pass through this world but once; therefore, any good that we can do or any kindness that we can show to any fellow creature, let us do it now; let us not defer or neglect it...for we shall not pass this way again.

To work towards the highest obtainable level of health for each resident, through the dedicated efforts and cooperation of care givers.

To promote the values, spirituality and self worth of all residents in a living community which is safe, clean and comfortable.

To encourage the spirit of cooperation and communication, that acknowledges human worth in a work environment that is safe, clean and friendly.

Encourage community participation in the lives of the residents through volunteering, social events and an active connection with those in our surrounding area.

Nursing home care has changed greatly in recent years and the Heritage Manor Health Center is deeply committed to meeting the challenge of today's demands.

At the Heritage Manor Health Center, we strive to enhance each individual's life with professional and caring services, and to help each resident achieve his or her highest potential.

The Heritage Manor Health Center is a Medicare and Medicaid certified facility providing all levels of care: short term stays for rehabilitative care and long term care. The nursing home also provides services and programs for special needs.  Heritage Manor Health Center overlooks Longyear Lake just one mile from Highway 169 in Chisholm, Minnesota, the melting pot of the Iron Range.

Heritage Manor takes pride in having systems in place to measure the satisfaction of the residents that call our facility home.  Residents and family members are encouraged to respond to our facility surveys.

We also recognize to be successful in having satisfied residents, we must engage the employees who care for them.   Employees are encouraged to respond to our engagement surveys.
